Sponsorships (long distance adoptions)
Anyone who wishes to adopt (long distance) or in other words, sponsor a child, through Take Care Kids can do so now. Take Care Kids has introduced this new support system to give each child in its care a better future. We have been working with children in this area of Thailand for years now and we are convinced this new form of support will be fundamental in order to provide each child with his/her needs in all sectors such as schooling, health care, games and correct eating habits. Generally, these kids are not orphans but they live in critical conditions. Our main objective is to extract them from these dangerous situations (streets, slums and degraded environments in general)
How does this work?:
- Your name will be connected to one of the children we already take care of here in Pattaya, Thailand and who resides or will do so in the very near future in our Shelter (Take Care Kids Shelter).
- You will be corresponding with the child regularly and if you wish you can visit him/her at the Shelter.
- You will be able to follow the child's growth through our site and on Facebook.
- The child will write at least twice a year to let the family or sponsor know of his/her progress.
- The yearly amount for the child's support is 300 Euro, which is approximately 25 Euro per month (because of economic and social instability, the amount you give represents 20 to 30% of the yearly costs. The cost also varies according to whether the child goes to school or not).
