TCK members visited the Italian Ambassador in Thailand

Friday January 27th a group of Take Care Kids members visited the Italian Ambassador in Thailand, His Excellency Dr. Michelangelo Pipan. His Excellency and Juergen Lusuardi, TCK President chatted friendly for about ten minutes, then everyone met Dr. Andrea Speronello (First Secretary) and Dr. Andrea Vitalone (Officer in Charge) and we were able to tell everyone the details on our work in Italy and Thailand.

Christmas Market

A magic atmosphere at the Christmas Market in Bolzano: smells of apples and brulè...We start on Saturday with Take Care Kids' stand in Piazza del Grano right behind Piazza Walther. You can find many unique objects and great occasions for all, associates and friends. All the money we collect will be given to the kids as always. Starting at 9 o'clock in the morning all the way to 6 in the evening every week end. Buy yourself a present and a smile for our children....

Propositiv Bolzano

Another group of friends has come along to help Take Care Kids in its projects for children. We want to thank the ProPositiv Asociation in Bolzano who have been fighting AIDS for years and decided to raise funds for TCK as well. Thank you Mrs. Romina Berni, all the administrative staff and mot of all, every single volunteer of this association. Thank you!

We would like to thank the Historical Studies Center in Castellarano for their continuous support to our cause. Saturday the 18th of June, during Castellarano's White Night (in REggio Emilia), they put up a food stand and sold Gnocco Fritto and Tigelle (typical delicacies). all the money collected that night (and what a night!) was donated to Take Care Kids. On Thursday June 23rd they organized a convention at the House of Charity (thank you Sister Enrica) titled "The Other Face of Paradise....Thoughs on sexual tourism". The spokesman was Giorgio Lusuardi, founder of Take Care Kids. So for all this we would like to thank all the memebers of the Studies Center in CAstellarano, the City Hall and let me give a special mention to Mrs. Giovanna Fontana for being so envolved with all our projecs. Thank you Castellarano!!!!!!!!!!!!

1° Convention MJ Italian Foundation

hello everyone.....our appointment schedule is always full....Friday June 3rd, starting at 10 in the morning, we will be present at the convention dedicated to The King of Pop Michael Jackson, in the Atc room in Corso Dante 14 - Turin. Tck Founder, Juergen Lusuardi, will speak at 15.40 and the President Giorgia Zanoncello will also be there. The event was organised by the MJ Foundation Italy, and we would like to deeply thank its President Mrs. Ada Tarchetti for inviting us and for all the support. Come visit us if you're in the area!

Christmas 2010

We can do a lot with very little

Hi to all!

a recent study has shown that in Italy, 40% of all Christmas presents goes directly in the trash or gets "recycled" and given to others. We use every single penny and donation and we never waste anything:

• 200Kg of rice cost 70 Euro
• taking 20 kids to get ice cream or fast food costs 30 Euro
• taking 20 kids to the pool costs 30 Euro
• one month of diapers for Nat (the slum's newest born) costs 12 Euro
• powdered milk for Uhn (the two year old in the slums) costs 8 Euro
• a mosquito net (to prevent Malaria and Dengue Fever) costs 2 Euro
• cleaning a child's teeth at the dentists' costs 20 Euro
• a toy costs 3 Euro..................

(prices float according to the exchange rate, these follolw the 17th of December rate)

We can do a lot with very little.......this year, change your Christmas!

Bolzano Christmas (charity) market

Thursday Nov. 25th starting at 17:00 the Bolzano Christmas (charity) market will open again. This year TCK will be there daily until the end on Dec. 22nd. Our little stand is in Piazza del Grano and you can find us there from 09:00 to 18:00 (we are right behind Piazza Walther), and of course we will be selling hand crafted objects. Come buy yourself a present and help us give our Thai children a chance in life! Merry Christmas, Frohe Weihnachten, Feliz Navidad...

Dinner in favor of Take Care Kids

Friday November 26th at 20:00 in Castellarano's ARCI headquarters, Castellarano's (Reggio Emilia) Center of Historical Studies will organize a charity dinner in favor of Take Care Kids. The menu will include all local specialties and there will be a lottery as well, while some volunteers will be present in order to answer all questions. Christmas Market

E-bay auction

Starting Thursday Oct. 28th until Wednesday Nov. 3rd we will be having an auction on e-bay (auction section) to support our non-profit organization. Many champions donated their things for this auction. Valentino Rossi for starters (MotoGP), Matteo Manassero (golf), Daniel Pedrosa (MotoGP), Federica Pellegrini (swimming), Chievo (Verona Football) Official 2010-1011 shirt, Giulia Rondon (Volleyball), Messi (Barcelona Football) shirt, Mara Santangelo (tennis) and many others.....We can define this a "wordwide" auction....come see and bring all your friends too!!!

We would also like to thank all the champions who gave something of theirs for our cause and hope to have them all on our side when the time comes for another auction next year. Many thanks to Pierangela as well.

Dinner in favor of TCK [Español]

Silvia and Luca from "Il Vecchio Mulino Restaurant" in Figueretas (Ibiza-Spain) invite everyone to the dinner in favor of Take Care Kids on October 28th. All profits will be devolved to TCK in order to support all the project this non profit organization has carried out in the last years, most of all, the "Family Shelter" in Pattaya. It will be a buffet for the price of 15 Euro (drinks not included). A volunteer from Italy will participate in order to give any necessary information about TCK.

Grapes Festival

Our Organization's hot autumn is on the way. Starting Friday Sept. 17th until Sunday the 19th (from 19:00 to 24:00 on the first two days and all day on the third day) we will be in Castellarano (Reggio Emilia) celebrating the Grapes Festival. You can find us at he Rocchetta store and on Sunday the Philarmonic Orchestra will hold a concert in favor of TCK starting at 21:00 in Piazza Matteotti. We will be there to meet all our friends and to say hello to all those who wish to support or inform themselves about our projects. Be there in great numbers!!!!!!!!!!!
